Position Summary

We are seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for aerospace and electronic component manufacturing projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. You'll work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs for aerospace/electronic components.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for pricing and lead times.
• Maintain pricing models and historical cost data.
• Assist in proposal preparation for government and commercial contracts.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to validate cost assumptions.
• Track bid schedules and maintain documentation for audits.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 2+ years in estimating within aerospace or electronic component manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, testing).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred

• Experience with government contracts and DFARS compliance.
• Knowledge of electronic components and aerospace industry requirements
